5 Fatal Reasons Leaving Blogging Within The Next 3 Months

A successful blogger must have passion to his blog. There are some factors to be continue with blogging as a newbie bloggers. Here I will discuss some factors for what a newbie blogger leaves blogging.

It's not unusual for someone to rush in full of enthusiasm and ready to rock-n-roll, only to call it quits after several months from what is known as "blogging burnout".

There are many things that can lead to a blogger getting burned out, like losing interest in the topic you've chosen to blog about, so in this post I'll be covering 5 reasons you'll probably quit blogging within the next 3 months (or sooner).
Everyone loves money... in fact, money is necessary to cover living expenses and to do the things in life that we enjoy. But if "money" is the only thing motivating you  to blog in the first place, you're going to have a very hard time pushing forward. I know this all too well... because I started my first blog in the " make money online" niche. And what do you think happened? I'll tell you this much: I certainly didn't make any money.

Reason #1 - You're motivated by money
Reason #2 - You've set your expectations too high
We all want to be the best at everything we do, I know, but when has someone actually been the "best" at everything they did? Never. I'll admit, it does require a LOT of ongoing work to grow your blog to a level of notable success, but you can't be the  best  at  everything  you  do;  all  you  can  do  is  "do  your  best".  Setting  your expectations too high will only end up disappointing you.

Every established blog you look up to is a content powerhouse. They have content dating back several years or more, and people as well as search engines return daily
to  consume  that  content.  Why?  Because  people  &  search  engines  feed  off  the awesome content those blogs produce. Without a consistent stream of fresh content your blog will die, but if you're trying to write 7 days out of the week you might die (only joking :)). In all seriousness, though, blogging everyday, you're more likely to burn out.

Before I started blogging I would always hear the phrase "you need to write about things you  are  passionate about".  As I  mentioned earlier, I  first started blogging about making money online which, to be totally honest, wasn't something I was very passionate about. I was in love with the idea of making money, so it wasn't exactly what you would call a "passion". If you're writing about topics you have little interest in I can guarantee that, in 3 months or less, you'll be done. We've all fell victim to analysis paralysis, whether we knew it or not, it just happens.

It's natural for someone just starting out to want to over-analyze everything in an attempt to learn all the bits and pieces, but this is bad... real bad! Once you're stuck over-analyzing something, this can go on for weeks often months at a time and you'll  quickly  burn  out;  It's  best  just  to  learn  enough  to  get  started,  then  take immediate action.

There are definitely many more reasons someone starting a new blog might throw in the towel before actually seeing any real results, but these are 5 that I've personally dealt with myself.

Do you feel as if you can no longer continue writing for your blog? Is it becoming more and more difficult for you to keep pushing "Publish"?

How to Make a Blog to Earn Money

Nowadays, whoever wonder into the world of web everybody has a blog. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom looking to document your kids’ lives, a crafter creating the latest do-it-yourself projects, or a business owner looking to market and make a name for your brand, blogging could be the answer to doing what you love and making an income from it.

That’s right, it’s possible (in fact, very possible) to make money simply by blogging. All you need is a computer, the ability to accept credit cards online, and a few tips, provided below. Most people don’t stick with blogging long enough to make any money from it. Don’t expect results overnight. Blogging takes work, hours upon hours of work, before you’ll ever see a dime. The more work you put in, the more money you can eventually expect to make. To help you stick with it, blog about things you’re passionate about.

If you blog about food but don’t really enjoy cooking, chances are the blog will be forgotten about long before it even has a shot at making money. Once you start your blog and know the direction you want it to go, it’s time to start gaining readers(or in blog terms, followers). To do this, you must get involved with the blogging community. Find blogs that are similar to your own – as far as their topic, age, and audience – and read what they’re writing about. Leave commentson other blogs, send emails, respond to emails, post your blogs on Facebook and Twitter, and network.

The more people that see your blog, the better you’ll be at gaining readers. Always, always, always be true to yourself. People will continue visiting your blog i f they like who youare, so don’t try to be someone you’re not. Eventually, either your true colors will show or you’ll no longer enjoy blogging due to not being true to How to Make Money Off Your Blog Create a blog and stick with it Gain followers Be yourself Instead of billboards, people will use your blog to advertise yourself, and you’ll lose readers. Start advertising once you’ve generated a decent amount of traffic to your blog.

Google Adsense is a great program to start out with, and it’s free! You place Google ads on your blog (you can determine the types of ads you want to display and where they are placed) and get paid when people click those ads. Say you have a 1% click rate, 1000 page views per day, and you get paid 25 cents per click. That means you’ll make $2.50 per day off of ads. Though it doesn’t seem like much, it does add up, and it doesn’t cost you a thing. Sign up as an affiliate of a company, such as Amazon, to earn money off your blog. You earn per click (like regular advertising), per sale, or per lead. The huge benefi t of this is once you place the ad on your blog, you’re essentially done. As long as your blog’s generating traffic (remember, the more the better), the money will come in.

This is where a company pays you a flat rate to put their ad on your blog. Sometimes, companies will contact you directly for this. Make sure people and businesses know you’re accepting sponsors by putting that information directly on your blog. Advertise the number of followers you have, how many monthly page views your blog gets, and how much you want to charge per ad. If you’re crafty, use your blog to market yourself or business to sell your product.

If you have a business on the side, such as selling candles or makeup, put it on your blog. Allowing customers to buy your product directly from your blog will grow your sales, business, and income. Use your blog to write a review on a product, service, or website and get paid. The Advertise Affiliate advertising Sponsors Sell something Write reviews company pays you to write a review in hopes of selling their product to your readers. Typically, each review needs to be about 200 words long. If you’re reviewing a product, you will receive the product for free in addition to monetary compensation. ReviewMe.com is a great place to start.

Once your blog is large and has a steady following, the opportunities to make money are endless. You can write an eBook, a regular print book, sell your guest posts, become a professional blogger, and more. The key is being passionate about your blog, consistently posting, and making your mark in the blogging world. It’s not easy, but if you enjoy it, then it’s not really work

Affiliate marketing is a way that publishers can earn income by referring and recommending products and services on their blog. Say for instance you have a website on fashion trends, as an affiliate marketer you would place banner ads, blog posts, reviews, and/or send out newsletter promos, or social media updates for fashion related products and services free of charge. In return you will earn a commission on every product that is sold through your affiliate link, or on every lead that is generated through your site. Skimlinks is another automated affiliate platform. Bloggers can apply for approval into the network, once you’re approved simply paste a special code on to your site and you’re ready to go. Links will automatically be added to your content, and you’ll start making money from clicks. Refer other bloggers into the program and double your earnings.

When these links are clicked on and your readers make a purchase, you’ll earn cash. Viglink works with companies like Amazon, Anthropologie, Avon… in fact they have over 30,000 companies that they are affiliated with. Refer other bloggers and friends to sign up for Viglink and make even more money.

Working with Brands:
Working with brands on various promotional campaigns can be a great way to earn money through your blog. Many companies will pay for sponsored blog posts, Twitter parties, as well as giveaways and review opportunities. While you can contact companies on your own, it can be difficult to break in — this is where third party connectors can help aid in the process. While your earnings will tend to be less when you work with a third party connector, it does get your foot in the door. And depending on the success of your promotion, you could be asked to become a brand ambassador or blogger for the company, which means stable income.

26 Tips: How to Make Your Blog Ready for New Visitors

Is your blog ready for the new visitors?  How will you make your blog easy to use for the first time visitors?  Here are some important tips to makeover your blog without hiring anyone.  Just follow these tips and promote your blog for the people visiting for the first time.

Let’s begin.
1. Look at your blog title. What is it telling your readers? If you are still on a free domain and thinking about moving to self hosted site, think long and hard about your blog name.
2. Getting your tagline just right is extremely important. It speaks volumes about your blog. It tells the first time visitors what is it about and what’s in it for them. Aim to make it descriptive rather then creative.
3. Showcase a clutter free design. Install a premium theme to make it look really professional. You are only looking at one time cost but it will really help your blog stand out. You can easily tweak things to make your design look exactly the way you want.
4. Add a brief author bio and image to your sidebar. This way anyone landing on it for the first time can see at a glance
who writes it. Again emphasize on why you write this blog.
5. Show your most popular posts on the sidebar. This way your best content is always available for newcomers.
6. Place your email sign up form in a prominent position. A top bar works well. Another good position is to add it to your sidebar. Be careful that it is above the fold and the reader doesn’t have to scroll down to find it.
7. Make it super easy for your readers to contact you. Add a stand alone Contact Me tab on your main navigation or add this information on your About Me page. Don’t make readers jump hoops to get in touch with you either.
8. If you are accepting guest posts, it is a good idea to display your guideless in an easy to locate position. Think about adding a Write for Us or Guest Post Guidelines tab on main navigation. If you accept guest posts by invitation only, say so.
9. Add links to your Social Media profiles on your sidebar. Be consistent with your choice of icons.
10. Work on your About Me page until you are happy with the result. After your home page, this is the most frequently visited page of your blog. It needs to tell the visitor who you are, why you are writing this blog and why should they care. Meaning what makes you qualified to write on this topic. Don’t forget to add your opt-in form.
11. Add a subscription form after every post to remind your readers. Add other relevant plug-ins that will display similar posts.
12. Add social share buttons at the end of your posts so that people can share them easily. Don’t add too many to confuse them. Select a few networks that you are active on yourself so you can respond and keep an eye on what’s happening.
13. Create your ideal reader profiles. Go into detail and write a few personas. Make sure you appeal to at least one type of reader when writing your blog posts.
14. Headlines can make or break your post. They need to make somebody curious enough to click on it. Spell out the benefit and try to stay away from formulaic ones.
15. Hook your reader in with an irresistible intro. Perhaps make a startling revelation or share a shocking statistic? Ask a pressing question or say something totally unexpected.
16. Make your content screen friendly. Short paragraphs, subheadings, bulleted lists, images, screen shots and lots of white space. Every single element will go a long way in making it highly scannable.
17. Practice the principles of effective communication. Blogging is much more about writing. Remember to be clear, concise and connect with your audience.
18. Add a relevant call to action to your home page (subscription form) or at the end of your blog posts (Share, comment, link, buy something). Don’t overwhelm readers with unnecessary choices.
19. Create ‘linkbait’. Examples of these are round up type posts, interview posts, long lists — in short, posts that a lot of people would be interested in linking to. They are excellent ways to build authority and show off some social proof (tweets, likes, comments, links etc).
20. Install Reply Me type plugin. This sends an automatic email when you respond to a comment. The commentator doesn’t have to check any boxes to receive updates. More over, the person only receives the response and not all the comments in the thread. They never miss your response and it helps build engagement.
21. Show that you truly care about your community and always respond to their questions and any relevant comments.
22. Offer a freebie to get people to sign up for your newsletter or subscribe to your blog. Nothing entices anyone than a relevant freebie. This can take a form of a short report, an ebook or even a link to a video. Make sure you deliver high value content to get people to sign up.
23. Add a hire me page if you have any services on sale and list all the details for easy access. Don’t bury this information.
24. Place testimonials and raving customer feedback on your site to add credibility and authority.
25. Thank your advocates and your biggest supporters. People who always take time out to comment and share your stuff.
26. Have fun. Come across as a positive, passionate and fun loving blogger. Don’t paint a picture of gloom and doom.
There you have it. Go through the list, make notes and then take action. Keep coming back to it when you need to.
And share it with others so they can improve theirs too.

10 Effective Ways to build Internal Linking to increase Blog Ranking

One of the most effective way of staying traffic in your blog and reducing bounce rate is internal linking and thus increasing your blog ranking as well as search engine ranking. Here I will discuss some important effective way to internal linking on your blog

In this article we’ll take a look at ten easy ways to improve the internal linking throughout your blog. Put these into action and you’ll be well on your way to creating a more user-friendly blog and also helping your search engine rankings at the same time.

1. Use a sitemap
Sitemaps are not only important for helping visitors find what they’re looking for, but they’re also an easy way to increase the amount of internal links to your important pages. I’m not talking about XML sitemaps created for search engines (although they can be important too), but rather a sitemap for your readers with links to all of your posts, or at least your most important ones.
WordPress users can use the Sitemap Generator Plugin from Dago Design to automatically create a sitemap for their blog. This plugin creates a helpful sitemap page with links to your posts arranged by category.

2. Create a FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions pages can help you to get internal links to your posts while using highly targeted keywords and phrases. Create some common questions readers might have that can be answered by your blog posts. Pose the question on the FAQ page and partially answer the question and provide a link to a particular post for more information. When phrasing the questions, use keywords that readers are likely to use when performing a search, as this can help to improve traffic from search engines. Also use keywords in the anchor text of the links to your posts.

3. Link to related posts
Linking to posts on similar topics can help your readers to find additional content that may interest them. Just as importantly, it can also improve the number of internal links to your blog posts. You can manually create related links at the end of your posts, or you can use a plugin to do it for you. WordPress users can download the Related Entries plugin.

4. Include links to your most popular posts on your sidebar
Many blogs contain links to specific posts in the sidebar. Linking to those that are the most popular is a good way to increase your page views and also to improve your internal link strength. This also can either be done manually or with the use of a plugin. Doing it manually will require updates and changes whenever you want to feature new posts, whereas a plugin like Most Wanted will eliminate the manual effort.

5. Write a series of posts
One easy way of building up the number of internal links going from one post to another is to write a series. As the series is written and published each post can link to the others. If you have a very long post, consider breaking it into a series. Be careful not to do this all the time as your readers may start to feel like you are using them to gain page views.

6. Do a weekly or monthly summary
Many bloggers wrap up each month with a post that links to some of the most popular recent posts on the blog with a brief description of each. This obviously gives you a chance to add some internal links, and it can help readers who may have missed some posts as well as new subscribers who may not have had the opportunity to read some of your best work.

7. Place links on your 404 pages
Error pages are frustrating to visitors. Help make your 404 error pages more-user friendly and drive a little bit of extra traffic to some of most important posts. Most WordPress themes include a 404.php file that can be edited to include and content you want, including links. If you are using a WordPress theme that does not include a 404 file, see the WordPress Codex for instructions.

8. Include links in your footer
Depending on what blog theme you are using, your footer may be wasted space that includes very little valuable content. Many visitors who have read to the bottom of your posts or scrolled all the way down looking for something will check the footer for relevant links rather than scrolling back to the top. Why not provide these visitors with links to other posts or pages on your blog?

9. Use text links throughout posts
As your writing your blog posts keep an open eye for opportunities to link to older posts. If you have text relates to the topic of an older post, create a link. As you build more and more content this will be even easier to do. It’s also a good idea to periodically go back through some of your older posts to look for linking opportunities to more recent posts that did not exist at the initial time of publishing.
It may be especially beneficial to include links in the first few paragraphs of a post, as some bloggers have reported highly increased click-through rates from RSS readers with links high in the content,

10. The aLinks plugin for WordPress
WordPress users can take advantage of the aLinks plugin to automatically create links for commonly used phrases throughout their blog posts. The plugin is designed for use with internal links as well as external links (especially affiliate links).
